I started this piece a few months ago and wasn't sure what to do with the crack, so had it sat on the side waiting for me to think of an idea. That's what I love about Woodturning, no two pieces are the same, and every piece of wood has its flaws. I knew I wanted to preserve the crack in some way so thought the best way was to lace it in leather strips. How do you think I did?
