(I write these descriptions for people to read lol!) ~~~ I added closed captions via annotations for any deaf/hearing impaired fan of Switched at Birth who wants to watch my fanvideo and appreciate my lyric matching like it's clips matching poetry rather than music. So I just watched the entire season (only 1 season/22 episodes have aired so far) of the ABC Family show Switched at Birth within only 1 week lol. I just totally fell in love with it. I like a lot of things about it and this video doesn't properly convey how this show is better than your average "stupid" teen drama so I'm gonna try to make a cast vid soon. I was just inspired so much to vid this couple as I was watching the show. They're adorable and a lot of us ship them so I hope they're endgame, even if the season ended on a kinda bad note for them as a couple. I saw this video set to Tiffany Alvord's cover of the song before ever even hearing the original. It's a OTH video about Chase & Alex in seasons 7-9 made by jameslaffertyftw23:    • chase & alex | glad you came.   And I liked it. I didn't completely adore the song but I kept it in mind as a sweet song with simple enough lyrics that it could work for a hard-to-find-songs-for couple. Like I realized Bemmett were. Then idk I guess I decided to check out more of Tiffany Alvord's stuff and see if there were any better but similar sweet covers of some songs on her channel. I've heard both her and Megan Nicole collaborate with Tyler Ward and Boyce Avenue and stuff so then idk somehow I also was looking through Megan Nicole's videos. When I got to HER cover of "Glad You Came" accompanied by this adorable and innocent music video that she made for it, I decided I'd rather use this cover than Tiffany Alvords, and the background beats were growing on me and stuff. Emmett & Bay are so innocent and cute too just like Megan Nicole's music video for it was. I then decided I kinda wanted to incorporate the music video into this fanvideo, like I did once before for a contest in a video file I've lost forever and like how I've seen other people do sometimes... like here: Hey There, Delilah (Rory/Jess) by bedfordgirl (she made it back in like 2007!)    • Hey There, Delilah (Rory/Jess - REUPL...   Etc. I added coloring to the original Megan Nicole vid as well as to my Switched at Birth clips. Different (but sort of similar) colorings to both. :P I know I didn't use every single Bay/Emmett moment, especially not most of their angsty stuff but even not many of their little sweet scenes probably but I tried my best to find the scenes I could. I started having trouble finding scenes I wanted to use, so I cut the song short near the end. Sorry if anyone hates my song cut. She's an awesome YouTube friend of mine. So this video is mainly dedicated to her. It's also dedicated to Bookwormkehprodz too. She encouraged me to check out the show in the comments of that Father's Day collab:    • Happy Fathers Day "I'll Be Right Besi...   (I vidded Larry/Peyton from OTH and Jonathan/Clark from Smallville in it too btw) and I'm really glad I did end up checking it out per her suggestion. The pilot didn't quite hook me fully until maybe the last couple minutes of it but after that, to me the show just got better and better!! I knew that if both pitufa003 and Bookwormkehprodz liked it, I probably would. We have very similar tastes in shows. Thanks, both of you, for being that push I needed to watch the show! I totally adore it now!! And I love this song for the show because it's so true that Bay's "universe will never be the same" now that she's dated a deaf person and has been getting some glimpses of his perspective on life and learning sign language (ASL) for him, etc.
