Derek is in love with Anastasia, a young noble of his kingdom, who is living at the palace as a curt-lady. Odette is in love with Eric, a sailor, who she met on the ship that's bringing her to Derek's country every summer. EDITOR'S COMMENT: Phew, this was a ride.
