In this video, we take y'all to San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador! We start our El Salvador tour in the Historic Center (Centro Historico) to show you what this area San Salvador has to offer. We started in Plaza Libertad and made our way through la Iglesia del Rosiario, Palacio Real, Catedral Metropolitana de San Salvador, and the lively downtown streets. There were so many people walking around and enjoying the historic center. To our surprise, there were even little bands playing throughout the main square with a number of locals joining in for dancing! Such a fun experience. A little bit later in the afternoon we tried one of the most important foods in El Salvador: THE PUPUSA. We went to an amazing family owned pupusería near our airbnb and it was absolutely fantastic.
