I finally got it back! This is the new Mario Kart DS Waluigi Pinball 3lap World Record with 3/3 Ultra Shortcuts. It was my 6th successful 3/3 run... on all other runs I failed somewhere and missed the WR. Marisa's former WR was really strong and hard to beat, really well done! I am the 2nd person who ever got a 3/3 and like I said I got it 6 times by now. Marisa got it 3 times. Who will be next? After MKDasher uploaded a video about a possible pause buffer strat on LM shortcut, I also played around with it on WP. Its definitely possible and for some players it might even be easier, but at that point I was so consistent at the SC that the pause buffering strat felt more difficult and thats why I didn´t try it any longer and just got the 3/3 WR without it :) About the run: Lap 1 was pretty good, not much to complain about. The SC setup was a little bit bad, so that I crashed the wall pretty early, but I recognized it immediately and aligned the kart pretty good so that I still had decent speed in the air. Lap 2... well what should I say, its a best know split (bks) and just really all I could have asked for. The bounce was pretty much perfect, insane speed and I was able to save it at the end with the slowfall. I had such a jump a few times before and knew what was coming. I am pretty sure I got a 31:4 on lap 2 before with a bumper hit, but I didn´t know that it is a bks so after I failed the run I didn´t save it lol. Lap 3 was decent as well. Of course I lost quite a lot because I was angled too far left at the landing after the SC and I hesitated at the last corner, but that was just because my nerves kicked in after I got the SC and all I wanted was to not hit the wall at the end.
