Feel free to lie to that question. sometimes we don't really know. and who's to say the truth is owed? Seasons change, they come and go. It's less vexatious than it felt before. I guess that's part of this whole 'moving on' or just placebic symptoms I've foregone. If we could go back to those days, in the end what could we have changed? I remember not that long ago in that small rundown studio apartment where resentment was soundly invoked all those ill thoughts we never spoke seemed so distraught, so instead I thought "if we could just leave this place" - So.. 'everything you wanted'. More/less a series of letters to myself taking the form of songs, written between 2022 and 2023. A venting out of various introspections, reflections, and anxieties over some years spent chasing this idealized sense of satisfaction and well-being, and in the end realizing that's always kind of a fool's errand.
