Bob Marley - Hallenstadion, Switzerland '80 (SBD - Unknown)

Live at the Hallenstadion, Zurich, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. May 30th 1980. ______________________________________ 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞: - Soundboard (Unknown) Possibly a person named ASL? 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐞: CD-R - CDex 1.51 - FLAC 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: A previously uncirculated recording that surfaced in December 2013. Stunning (and unfortunately incomplete performance), but at least more than 70 excellent minutes of world-famous Reggae music recorded from the first concert of the «Uprising Tour» in 1980. First (and last) performance in Switzerland with some rarely played live versions starting the last ever tour from Bob Marley! ______________________________________ 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: - 10,000 Tickets Sold - Rare live and first performance ever of "We And Dem". - Rare 1980 live performance of "Talkin' Blues". - First performance ever of "Redemption Song". - The beginning of the show is missing, most likely the songs "Natural Mystic", "Positive Vibration" and "Revolution". - Beginning of the Uprising Tour 1980. - Video exist, inside the Switzerland TV archives. - First and only show in Switzerland. - This was 2 months after the loss of his friend Jacob Miller... ______________________________________ 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐩: • Bob Marley - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar • Aston Barrett - Bass • Carlton Barrett - Drums • Al Anderson - Lead Guitar • Junior Marvin - Lead Guitar • Earl Lindo - Organ, Clavinet • Tyrone Downie - Keyboards • Alvin Patterson - Percussion • The I-Threes (Judy Mowatt, Rita Marley & Marcia Griffiths) - Backing Vocals ______________________________________ 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: • 00:00:00 - Zimbabwe • 00:03:54 - Natty Dread • 00:09:08 - I Shot The Sheriff • 00:13:45 - No Woman, No Cry • 00:20:06 - Talkin' Blues • 00:24:33 - We And Dem • 00:28:58 - Lively Up Yourself • 00:35:31 - Jamming • 00:41:06 - Exodus • 00:47:31 - Redemption Song • 00:52:17 - War • 00:55:56 - No More Trouble • 00:57:37 - Kinky Reggae • 01:01:45 - Get Up, Stand Up ______________________________________ 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐫:   / worldwarxp   ______________________________________ #bobmarley #bobmarley1980 #bobmarleylive #bobmarleyandthewailers ______________________________________ 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: ‪@alexbrenneisen199‬ ... wow can't believe I spotted this ... was most impressive concert ever (especially at 17!) ... he came from London and if I recall correctly last concert after Zurich was Vienna ... that same night the student riots in Zurich started ... but nothing to do with the concert! :-) ‪@danielduesentriebjunior‬ I was there with my friends, great concert. On the way back we walked into teargas clouds - the youth riots had started. That was when we were young... ‪@princeneo257‬ ...everyone in the indoor stadium was standing and moving... it was just magic... and I was there...! thanks Bob.. wherever you are... ‪@brunito531‬ I will never forget this concert, peace ‪@isa8218‬ I was there too, I'm 47 today and I love Bob Marley like I did back then. Now the fan base has increased somewhat. My husband (African) loves reggae anyway and our two children know almost all of his songs by heart. Love forever! God ‪@saisplusquoimettre‬ I was there.......it was wonderful... ‪@lilianazanetti7374‬ Forever Bob Marley, was on this concert in Zürich, bevor in 1978 I was on the Open-Air Concert in San Diego, and I spoke with him and ask him if he comes to Zürich, and he comes. I am fortunate ‪@merrrengue‬ I was there and will never forget it! One love! ‪@EdiSchwager‬ I was at the concert, and I remember it well. Part of the concert was even filmed (I know the guy) and is partly to see on some Bob Marley DVD. - It was the same night (the two things have nothing to do with each other!!!!) that the famous youth riots called "die Bewegung" started in Zurich. To the benefit of the town!!! ‪@jenelcem‬ I was there too... I still remember how we filled out the coupon at a glance and hoped that the tickets would come... unbelievable and so long ago... never forgotten, today I can share the memory with my children... Thanks Bob... ‪@viktormeier7609‬ One of my first concerts and it was overwhelming.
