Locals will stair at foreigners especially if you're speaking English, but they won't initiate conversations. There isn't a centralized party scene with many bars, they are spread out through the city. For example, I met some new friends and they found a forro party which was a 30 minute ride into the city. The location is called Dom Anderson which you should visit. The location was small and prices very low. Another night we went to an unmarked venue near the airport which had live singers and it was more expensive. R$50 just to get in but it was a blast. As you can see the singers were amazing. #FORTALEZA
