Cindy’s Stage 4 Lymphoma Symptoms: “My Skin Started To Get Really Itchy!" | The Patient Story

Cindy was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in April 2021. Her first symptoms were intense itchiness on her skin, hands and feet and she thought it was just dry skin at first. Her skin then started turning yellow, she became tired and sluggish, and her eyes turned yellow. She knew something was wrong so she went to the ER, where they diagnosed her with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, a non hodgkin’s lymphoma. She shares her journey going from being extremely healthy to getting diagnosed with cancer and getting COVID, how she had to relearn breathing, swallowing, walking, and talking, and her spiritual journey while she was in the ICU. ____________________________ Contents of this video: 00:00 Introduction 00:31 My first symptoms 01:26 Going to the ER to get tests and scans 02:54 Getting the diagnosis: DLBCL 06:06 Testing positive for COVID 11:01 Starting chemotherapy 11:56 Support from family 14:32 Scans after treatment ____________________________ ✉️ Sign up for our newsletter: And learn more about early lymphoma symptoms! → https://tinyurl.com/23ua4mww 🔔 Subscribe to our channel: Stay updated with the latest inspiring stories of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma patients, empowering information, and support.
