I recently found this series of articles that dig deep into analysing the AWS Access Key to find out that the AWS account ID is actually encoded in it. This certainly throws some new points into the discussion on whether AWS account IDs are sensitive or not. In this video I try to explain these findings in depth and present my ideas on "security" through hiding AWS account IDs. I'm just presenting these findings.
