Alright, alright, alright... so that's a movie reference, but this trail is Flagline in Bend, OR. It's closed to all use until August 15th every year for Elk calving, and then it might see first snow in October. So it's really only legally rideable for 2 months of the year. Flagline is a really fun descent, but it also has a fair amount of pedalling to keep everybody honest. And with most of the trail around 7000 ft elevation, you'll have to work a bit to get the most fun out of the turns on the way down. Even better when you link up with Southfork at the bottom for sustained alpine descending bliss!
