Taylor 517 Demo and Review

Andy Kimbel takes the Taylor 517 for a drive so to speak, playing various passages all on the fly. Andy has quite a few guitars and has been playing for a very long time, the last 30 of which have for the most part, been as a "one man band" performing at various festivals, community events, a variety of folk and blues venues, colleges and auditoriums in the USA and parts of Europe. Andy is proudly in partnership with Taylor Guitars and owns several of them with probably one or two more on the way. Each guitar tells it's own story with unique expressions with various interwoven degrees of complexity and overtones emanating from each one. The 517 Builders Edition is somewhat of a departure from what one would be accustomed to hearing or "feeling" from a Taylor Guitar. It is a round shouldered dreadnought, but distinctly different from other builders Dreadnought guitars. Tune in to this video as Andy takes the 517 for a test drive.
