1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GT "Chairs and Flares"

As a young boy Alberto A. Gutiérrez was interested in European sports cars. As a teen he had a Dino slot car which was his absolute favorite car to race at the local slot track. After collecting a number of classic and modern sports cars he bought his first Ferrari about 15 years ago which was a 1969 365 GT 2+2. That was followed by a 328 GTS, a 360 Modena and then about four years ago this very special 1973 Dino 246GT. His Dino is a European-spec "Chairs and Flares” model, fitted with larger Campagnolo wheels that required flared out fender arches that give the car a more aggressive stance. These cars were also equipped with the same Daytona seats from the 365 GTB/4. A relatively small number of these cars were built, mostly for the American market in 1973 and 1974. European-spec "Chairs and Flares" Dinos are hard to find.
