A rare look at BART's one-time Antioch-SFO express line service to Pleasant Hill from Downtown San Francisco during the weekday morning rush. Shot on a 9-car train, this clip showcases the West Oakland-to-Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre trip that was in effect from September 2015 through early February 2020. As of February 10, 2020, all eastbound weekday morning trains that previously terminated at Pleasant Hill Station now continue onto and terminate at Concord Station, just as they did prior to September 2015. ** HOW THE PLEASANT HILL SERVICE WORKED ** Starting point: Montgomery St. Station in San Francisco. After MacArthur Station in North Oakland...BART's "Pleasant Hill limited" trains would then skip the Rockridge, Orinda, Lafayette and Walnut Creek stations, and continue non-stop to termination at Pleasant Hill Station. They'd subsequently turn back to San Francisco and end in Daly City.
