How to hard-coat and finish a styrofoam prop

In this video I show the process of hard-coating, painting and finishing a sculpted EPS (styrofoam) prop. I use West System epoxy, acrylic paint and polycrylic enamel. West System is much easier to measure, mix and apply than other products I've tried and the price is comparable. The advantage of using acrylic paint is that it dries very quickly so you can rework areas right away and build many layers of detail without having to wait. Polycrylic also dries quickly to a hard finish and doesn't stay sticky. It does a good job of bringing out your colors and protecting your paint.
