Truckee eMTB: Upper Big Chief! - Santa Cruz Bullit

What an epic weekend of riding! This was my second time tackling the Upper Big Chief Trail, and I have to say, it's tailor-made for e-bikes. Last year, we rode it on our regular bikes, and the climb felt brutal—a long, fire road ascent. But this time, with our e-bikes, the climb took a fraction of the time and left us fresh for the descent. Upper Big Chief is a black diamond single-track trail with technical rocky sections. On my first ride, the rock rolls seemed bigger and more challenging. However, the extra travel and weight of the Santa Cruz Bullit made a huge difference this time. The bike felt more planted, and the added travel smoothed out the rocky terrain beautifully. Stay tuned, as I'll be posting the lower section in the coming weeks!
