In this first part of the route of the abandoned MAGMA ARIZONA railway, in the United States of America. Where I was only able to do 16 miles of the entire 30 miles, I did those 16 miles in 2 stages (2 chapters) because arriving at the QUEENS River the wooden bridge was blocked, that is, I could not reach SUPERIOR AR. where the copper mine was located. and on the same day I returned to Hwy 60, dismantled the railcart and drove my car to the other side of the bridge, where I was able to get to SUPERIOR. That part is in chapter (2). This former railway was originally built as a 3 ft (914 mm) narrow gauge line, but was converted to a 4 ft 8+1⁄2 in (1,435 mm) standard gauge line in 1923. Originally headquartered in Superior , Arizona, The Magma was the last short line industrial railway to use steam power, dieselizing on September 4, 1968. ESPAÑOL : En esta primera parte del recorrido del abandonado ferrocarril MAGMA ARIZONA, donde solamente pude hacer 16 millas de las 30 millas que tiene su totalidad, esas 16 millas lo hice en 2 etapas ( 2 capitulos) porque llegando al rio QUEENS se encuentra bloquedo el puente de madera ,o sea no pude llegar a SUPERIOR AR. donde se encontraba la mina de cobre. y en el mismo dia regrese hasta la hwy 60 desarme el railcart y me dirigi en mi auto hasta el otro lado del puente, donde si pude llegar a SUPERIOR. esa parte esta en el capítulo ( 2 ) . Este antiguo ferrocarril se construyó originalmente como una línea de vía estrecha de 3 pies ( 914 mm ) , pero se convirtió en una línea de 4 pies 8+1 ⁄ 2 pulgadas(1435 mm) de ancho estándar en 1923. Originalmente con su sede enSuperior, Arizona, El Magma fue el último ferrocarril industrial de línea corta que utilizó energía de vapor , dieselizándose el 4 de septiembre de 1968. tambien se puede encontrar mucha informacion de este ferrocarril y fotos de sus vaporeras y diesel y las Baldwin . muy interesantes su sistema de escape del motor..
