Driving to the blockhouse rewarded us with a breathtaking view that showcased the town's charm. As we explored further, we stumbled upon the awe-inspiring Reformed Church, discovering its profound influence on the shaping of South Africa's religious future. The visit to the old jail, or Gaol, provided a fascinating insight into the town's past, while a beautiful drinking fountain stood as a testament to its historical significance.
