The best thing ever happened to a drum set: Here is a wonderful excerpt for you from a 52-minute TV broadcast at the Sartory-Hall in Köln (Germany) on 8th march 1980. Buddy's Version of Weather Report's "Birdland" with some nice percussion work from his band members and a sensational solo from Steve Marcus - hope you like it! As you can see here, part of Buddy's drum kit was an electronic drum pad. It was so funny: he hits this pad not only one second in the whole concert... ;-) For me it was a great pleasure to be in the hall and watch the entire concert, I will never ever forget that night which was part of the "Livehouse Nacht 1980". Took some nice photos from Buddy during his powerful performance.
