Greece Travel Epidaurus, The Greatest Theatre with Perfect Acoustics&Aesthetics

In Summer I travelled to Epidaurus, due to my Travel Project. Epidaurus is just a two-hour drive from Athens. Epidaurus was a small city in ancient Greece. Epidaurus was the main sanctuary of Asklepios, the greek god of healing (Apollo was his father and Thessalian princess Koronis his mother).Asklepios died during his childbirth, but he was rescued by a goat. Also, he was brought up by the centaur Cheiron, who instructed him the art of healing, that he could even cure death. However, the god of Death complained and Asklepios was killed by Zeus, the king of the gods. The amphithiatre of Epidaurus is considered to be the perfect theatre and it is called the Greatest Theatre due to its acoustics and aesthetics. The ancient theatre of Epidaurus seats up 14.000 people and is popular about the "Athens and Epidaurus Festival" which takes place every summer. Moreover, on my video there are scenes from the museum, that you can see large parts of the sculptures and images of Asklepios and his daughter Hygeia. Before, one get into the ancient area can enjoy their walk in the nature and have a coffee at the cafe. There is also a shop that someone can bye a wide range souvenirs. According to my opinion, the best time to visit the theatre is early in the morning or during the sunset time, because it is too hot in summer. I hope you enjoy this video.
