80's Thyssen modernisation - Old v new.

In the St Marys Shopping Centre and car park there are two sets of lifts, one in the shopping centre, and one in the car park opposite; both were originally 80's Thyssen lifts. However, these lifts are currently in the process of being modernised by the UK Lift and Escalator Company, who, surprisingly, haven't done a bad job. The unmodernised lifts aren't bad, but sadly they don't have 80's Thyssen buttons on the COP, only on the call button. Which do you prefer?
