This video is about cutting and polishing some beautyful Koroit Matrix Boulder Opals. Let´s try out what will work and what will go wrong. To have a good comparison, I took two stones of the same opal mother. You´ll see the difference between Diamondpaste and Diamond Pazific Nova Points on the finished opals! The cabbing maschine I am using actually is a Dremel- Setup with low budget for start opal cutting. Some more serious advice I want to share here: - If you have the money, buy a flexshaft. I will do the same very soon. - Use not that cheep diamondpaste I use. I bought mine on amazon. - Cut opals always with full attention. Flipping stones can be damadged and ruin your day. Always good to have some protection for this case. Mine is a combination of a plastic shield on the back oft he splash protection and a sponge in the waterbowl. - my videos may contain some kind of bad ideas. I dont want to be the reason for a bad opal cutting result. I highly recommend you to check out YouTube channels with very important informations. You hopefully have seen the videos of black opal direkt.
