【4K Japan】Kyoto, Arashiyama Walking Tour "Hogon-in"

In the fall of 2023, I took a trip to Kyoto, one of Japan’s ancient capitals, with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3, an easily portable, high-resolution camera. On that trip, I captured Kyoto’s beautiful scenery and vibrant autumn leaves in 4K high resolution (11/28-11/30). I visited Hogon-in, a sub-temple of Tenryū-ji, the head temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism in Arashiyama. Hōgon-in is famous for its shakkei-style (borrowed scenery) landscape garden, “Shishiku no Niwa”, which was created in the Muromachi period. The garden harmoniously blends moss, rocks, and autumn leaves with the scenery of Arashiyama as the background, making you feel the autumn atmosphere of Japan. 🍁 This video is part of my 2023 Kyoto Autumn Trip series, where I show you the best places to visit in Kyoto.
