During the Covid-19 Pandemic, when the cruises halted and were isolated from the world, there was a huge uncertainty about getting back home soon. It is during this time one starts thinking about your home, family, village, culture and your motherland! One day, during this time, I visualized that a Goan artist was performing with technologically advanced setup and renowned musicians! I thought to myself, why I don’t try to use modern technology to make the dream into reality. I am not a singer to sing a song; I am not a musician to play a tune. All I could was to do a video. And to me, what better to make my dream a reality than make a video of Late Padmashree M Boyer an artist whom I have huge respect and admiration! And, what other better song to do than from Late Padmashree M Boyer’s first Konkani Album “Golden Goa” released in the early eighties. The Lyrics from the song or for that matter any other song by Late Padmashree M Boyer are so prophetic and apt for today’s Goa. It was as if he had foreseen the sad state of Goa would have been today. Exactly on his 90th Birth anniversary this year, as my homage to Late Padmashree M. Boyer, I started this project I dreamt of! Remastering , collecting various footages, and video editing took a lot of time. But I hope everyone who views it will find it memorable and a video to be cherished. This video is not made for any monetary gains nor intends to infringe on any copyright or contract. It is an amateur video made for pure entertainment.
