This gorge separates the city’s 15th century new town from its old town, dating to Moorish rule. It's most famous and iconic sight is the Puente Nuevo, a dramatic and awe-inspiring stone bridge which spans the gorge, with multiple lookouts offering vastly different views. You'll be captivated during the day or at sunset. New Town’s Plaza de Toros is a legendary 18th-century bullring, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
