How to Program an InkBird Temperature Controller for a Chest Freezer Cold Plunge

UPDATE (2023): The InkBird shown in the video is NOT meant to be used in water! Do NOT use the one with a bare metal sensor if you plan to put it into water. See these Amazon affiliate links for the Inkbird to use. If the probe will be submerged it needs to be covered with silcone: Inkbird ITC-308 Digital Temperature Controller - silicone covered sensor https://amzn.to/3DF2A6h Inkbird WiFi ITC-308 Digital Temperature Controller - silicone covered sensor https://amzn.to/35tgbBR If you have a chest freezer cold plunge, one of the best pieces of equipment you can buy is a temperature controller. InkBird makes one that is affordable and reliable. The device is not difficult to program, but the instructions can be a bit confusing. This video will walk you through how to program the device using the buttons on the controller as well as with the app on a smart phone. If you want to purchase an InkBird temperature controller, please consider using my Amazon Affiliate links, listed above. NOTE: At 6:55 into the video after I finish programming the device and press the set button, the target temperature (SV) shows 77F instead of 55F. This is a mistake in the video editing! The unit actually did change to 55F - see 8:35 in the video). A gold star goes to Jimmy Griffin for noticing this detail and pointing it out.
