Pearline | 28 Moments of Black Canadian History | Africville

Pearline B-Fraser is a elementary school teacher who is passionate about educating the younger generation about their past, present and future. As a society, we have a collective responsibility to promote the healthy and positive development of all children. She believes learning happens when students recognize their potential and they are intrinsically motivated to behave a certain way to further their knowledge and skill. She loves the rewarding challenge of discovering each student’s strengths and passion to later teach with a purposeful plan. "Each child has the potential to excel and succeed but not all children have the opportunity, tools or support system needed to open their eyes to the possibility".
