Trapped In A Blizzard & I-80 CLOSED! (Grand Island, Nebraska)

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we left Iowa and traveled to Nebraska in search of snow, where we got trapped by a blizzard! The interstate and US routes were closed for 2 days so we got trapped in Grand Island, Nebraska longer than we anticipated but made the most of it. While we were here we celebrated Christmas at the Grand Island KOA ‪@koacampgrounds‬ which was great because they are open year round with water on at the site so we were able to get a lot of laundry done in our ‪@NeXusRV‬ Wraith 34W. The dogs enjoyed opening Christmas gifts and going for blustery walks in the blizzard. We had so much fun! The next day, interstate I-80 was still closed from the blizzard westward, which is exactly where we were headed so we had to stay put an extra day. So we decided to go into town and find something to do. We ended up visiting the Stuhr Museum ‪@stuhrmuseum‬ and really enjoyed the exhibits! There is also an old train on site and "Railroad Town" on site with some Bison. The town was closed because it's Winter, but we could still peek inside the windows and see inside the buildings. This is probably a very popular place to visit in the summer months! After another day we were able to make our way West towards Sidney, NE to visit ‪@CabelasHunting‬ campground, which will be in next weeks video!
