The bold sacrifices made by Anderssen to secure victory have made it one of the most famous chess games of all time. Anderssen gave up both rooks and a bishop, then his queen, checkmating his opponent with his three remaining minor pieces. In 1996, Bill Hartston called the game an achievement "perhaps unparalleled in chess literature". The Immortals is a an ASMR Series about the most famous chess games ever played, their moves, history and setting. The series is meant to be instructive as well as relaxing, with an emphasis on a calm, soothing voice and pleasing visuals. The series will cover games from the romantic era with Paul Morphy, Adolph Anderssen all the way up to the modern classics of Bobby Fischer and Garry Kasparov.
