BATMAN SOARS (1989 - 1997) Ultimate Trailer

While the world eagerly awaits The Batman (2022), let’s take a moment to appreciate the original Batman Quadrilogy, with one of my own signature compilations… As a kid I remember watching these films’ theatrical trailers on the DVD Extras; being blown away by how epic they were. In the spirit of these vintage trailers, I’ve incorporated various themes from Danny Elfman’s iconic OST, and finally for the retrospective; a single tune from Elliot Goldenthal’s overlooked work for Joel Schumacher’s films. Batman (1989) is among my favourite movies of all time, Batman Returns (1992) is thematically bizarre, visually mesmerising and wholly unique, Batman Forever (1995) is a lot of fun, with one of the greats Val Kilmer in the lead, and Batman & Robin (1997) is sincerely entertaining if you’re in the right mood. I think it’s overly maligned. There’s a sub-plot involving a dying Alfred (Michael Gough), where George Clooney delivers some astounding acting chops. “I spent my entire life trying to beat back death. Everything I’ve done... Everything I’m capable of doing… But I can’t save you”. That’s like something out of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy..! This video was completed on 02. 22. 2022, but Australia will show the publish date as 02. 23. 2022, which is MILDLY INFURIATING, since I didn’t realise it wasn’t set to PUBLIC until after midnight, local-time… 0:00 - 0:24 Opening 0:24 - 1:27 Batman (1989) 1:28 - 2:22 Batman Returns (1992) 2:23 - 3:23 Batman Forever (1995) 3:24 - 4:13 Batman & Robin (1997) 4:14 - 5:00 Retrospective COPYRIGHT 2022 © Warner Bros. #BATMAN Enjoy Epicness!
