Nintendo, or Sega. Super Mario Bros. or Sonic the Hedgehog. If that battle at all started to involve the discussion of films, for the longest while, Mario won by default. Because while the Super Mario movie wasn't exactly what one would call good by any stretch of the imagination, the mushroom-munching plumbers, at least had a big budget Hollywood film under their tool belts. Well now, Sonic has finally stepped up to the plate with the simply tilted Sonic the Hedgehog, which just hit theaters. And it's actually not too shabby. It's got a lot of heart, some absolutely bonkers acting from Jim Carrey, significantly better CGI then what we saw in that one trailer, and a lot of little Easter eggs and details for fans of the blue blur to sink their teeth into. And there is a ton of stuff in this movie. So much in fact that most people couldn’t possibly catch them all. Luckily, we were able to spot quite a few that you may have missed.
