John Marston returns home to his ranch where he meets Abigail, Jack, & Uncle. After having dinner, John & Uncle do some cattle & some rustling together. Then comes the final mission where the army comes to John's house. Outnumbered John, Uncle, & Jack are able to hold them off for a little while, but soon Uncle becomes fatally wounded. John, Jack, & Abigail head off towards the barn. John tells them to run away and he'll see them soon. As he walks out the front of the barn, he's greeted by close to 20 army soldiers & Edgar Ross. They show no mercy as they shoot him repeatedly. Some years later Jack Marston goes to hunt down Edgar and gets his revenge.
