Bay to Bay Club Director and Setters coach Arielle Houlihan overviews the fundamentals of setting with all of the clubs players during the Summer 2019 foundation practice. All Bay to Bay setters are run through a rigorous training program with weekly position specific training sessions. Here is an overview of the keys that are covered in this video: 1. Create a triangle with your hands (1 inch apart between index fingers and thumbs) 2. Hands are flat prior to contact the ball to maintain deception 3. Hands shape to the ball and arms extend past your ears on the set (no retraction of the arms)
