A Tour of BURKE IDAHO: Wallace to Burke Mile Marker Tour PART 4 of 4

BURKE IDAHO: Founded in 1884 and Boomed in 1888. It had two railroad lines that also shared the main road. Store owners had to pull their store awnings up to allow the trains to pass. This is PART 4 of a 4 part series that shows the different mines/mills and towns that existed along a 7 mile stretch of road between Wallace and Burke Idaho. This series was started almost 3 years ago and only Parts 1 & 2 have been uploaded. Part 3 is a 10m video on just the history of Burke Idaho. Glitches won’t let me upload that video so for now it’s “Lost”, I am trying to re-edit a new one. This video kind of assumes the viewer has seen the 3rd part so it does not go into detail on some things. If it seems like I am leaving out important information, that’s why. The road at Upper Burke was closed the day I went up (2014) to shoot last summer. So I had to use older video shot with different cameras over different times and I just did'nt have the footage I really needed to cover the school, the ski area, or the ball park. I edited it the best I could but I had to leave a lot of info out. Because I had to use different footage shot in SD 4:3, SD 16:9, HD 1080, HD 720 and filmed in Summer, and Fall of different years, the footage can look a bit strange at times. Also, my current computer and OTC editing software just can’t handle a lot (like sound). So I think you will still find this interesting but just wanted you to know why it looks the way it does.
