Video: My journey onboard a fast Thameslink Class 319 from St Albans to London Blackfriars in the late evening (I was on 319373, which the /3s are some of the louder 319s). Out of all the Class 319 journeys I've recorded this was the best motor thrash, as it reached 100mph between St Albans & London, giving an awesome scream through the Elstree tunnel and by the M1 motorway (it was just unfortunate it was only available at night). This was a rare 319 operating the full Bedford to Brighton service in the late evening, which is mostly operated now by the Class 700 Desiro City trains or Class 377 Electrostars at the time. To the present day, this still remains one of the best & fastest 319 rides I've ever done.
