Thunbergia Mysorensis, popularly known as Indian Clock Vine or Mysore Trumpetvine is considered by some gardeners as the most beautiful flower of all.This vine is native to southern tropical India. The specific epithet mysorensis is derived from the city of Mysore. Some call this vine Brick and Butter Vine, Lady`s Slipper Vine and Doll`s Shoes due to the flower shape and large size.It`s really a beautiful climber. How splendid the vine in full bloom is.It`s a climbing shrub with long slender branches.The flowers are on long, pendulous raceme. The video also shows the following Growing tips: 1. Thunbergia Mysorensis prefers well drained acidic soils. 2. The vine is best trained over arches or frame support to allow to large racemes to hang down and show. 3. Set the frame high enough because the racemes are almost 3 ft long. 3. You see the vine shows the flowers with its long pendulous raceme. Make arrangements so that the vine can hang the racemes from above. So avoid planting on fences - as the flowers do not show off well. 4.
