We rented a motorbike from a lovely lady in Panglao for 400 pesos (£5.35 GBP) and headed across the bridge to Bohol to see how much we could see in one day! We started with the attraction furthest away from Panglao - The Chocolate Hills. It took us about 2 hours to reach the main viewpoint for the chocolate hills as we navigated the twisty, broken roads up the mountains. We also passed the man made forest along the way so slowed down for the hundreds of people in the road taking selfies! We were so happy to visit this fascinating geological formation and lucky that half the mounds still had their chocolate brown colour and had not yet turned green. We then drove back down to Corella to visit the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary, a non profit sanctuary saving the world’s smallest primate the Philippine Tarsier. It was only 150 pesos (£2 GBP) to have a tour round the sanctuary and we were lucky enough to see 3 tarsiers in their sanctuary, and one that was pregnant! Our day ended at the Hinagdanan Cave back in Panglao where it was too late in the day to swim in the cave but we enjoyed the cool temperature and watching other people swim! We loved exploring Bohol by motorbikes as it gave us the flexibility and freedom to spend as much or as little time at each place that we wanted. Thank you for watching.
