Paired Sample T Test in SPSS and Interpretations

In this video, I demonstrated how to perform and Interpret Paired Sample T-Test in SPSS. This demonstration is so detailed that nothing was left untold. So, you will learn what it actually means by Paired Sample T-Test. As a good teacher, I wish to encourage you to see this video to the end, because there is so much to learn from the demonstration and especially the Interpretations, which was done in three different ways to reach the same decision. Paired Sample t test is a Statistical procedure that compares two means from two measurements of the same sample or from two related groups on the same continuous dependent variable. The purpose is to determine whether there is statistical evidence that the mean difference between the Pre-test and the Post-test scores, or between paired observations is statistically significantly different from zero. Basically, since Paired Sample T-Test determines whether certain Treatment or Intervention to a certain sample or situation is EFFECTIVE, then a simple difference between the Pre-test and Post-test scores were explicitly performed in this video with a new column created for the difference in the dataset in order to visually identify where the treatment was EFFECTIVE or INEFFECTIVE in the paired observations according to the negative and positive values respectively. As a parametric test, the assumptions that must be met in order for results of the Paired Sample T-Test to be valid were stated with their corresponding graphical outputs so you can learn it.
