Toronto walk around Danforth and Pape Ontario Line Subway construction site as buildings and houses are demolished over a period of a few months around Pape Subway Station. Recorded between March 20th to June 6th 2024. Metrolinx is clearing sites in the Pape and Danforth area to prepare for major construction of the Ontario Line subway. A new underground subway station will connect to Line 2 Bloor-Danforth at Pape Station. Work is finishing on removing buildings from vacant Metrolinx-owned properties around the station. Metrolinx acquired the properties to create the space needed to position the new station east of Pape Avenue out of the roadway. These sites will have the Ontario Line Pape station headhouse and a mix of two 7 and a 29 story building. Thanks for watching!
