A realistic setup of what a Croll rescue may look like if we forget to train for real life and in this case that would be rope stretch. Also known as "How NOT to do a Croll rescue on 25 meters of rope" 😉. This is an example of what can happen if we forget to train for real life. Those short ropes in a lot of training centers can give us a false sense of capability and with that a false sense of security. The regular Croll rescue, as taught in many training centers around the world, only really works on short ropes. Like always, there are multiple ways to prevent this. In this video I will show you the most basic way to prevent this and I will show how I got out of the upside down situation 😉.
