Designed by Gretsch for Chet Atkins and further popularised by the likes of George Harrison of the Beatles, the Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman is a fabulous guitar. Many argue that the Gretsch Filtertron pickups offer the best of both worlds - the hum cancelling quiet and big sounds of the Gibson Humbucker, and the clear, crystalline highs of the Fender Single Coil.
