Detailed 2007 997.1 Porsche 911 Turbo Review - 997 Turbo is a Future Modern Classic

We're absolutely thrilled to bring you another passion-driven review featuring this hot 2007 Porsche Turbo in the desirable black-on-black spec. In this review, we cover just about everything from the exterior styling, interior, and Hans Mezger designed engine plus take a spirited POV drive together. The 997 Turbo will be a future classic car. The 997 Turbo has the classic 911 styling, especially with the headlights a return to the classic form vs the 996 generation which featured "egg" shaped lights. The 997 Turbo is also lighter than the 991 or 992 generations at 3,400 pounds. You can tell from the inside as you and the passenger are just more snug in the 997 Turbo. The pièce de résistance of the 997 Turbo is the infamous Hans Mezger powered twin-turbo 3.6 liter making roughly 470 horsepower and with the over-boost feature 500 pounds of torque. On the POV drive, you hopefully can hear the 997 Turbo engine a good deal. This particular car does have aftermarket air intakes and you can hear the turbo boost and blow off better. This 997 Turbo has a lot of desirable upgrades like carbon upgrades, sport seats, a heated steering wheel, and the glorious and dying six-speed manual. The MSRP of this 997 Turbo was roughly $130k so not a cheap car back in 2007. Although considering a new Turbo S is going for $250k even inflation-adjusted that's a steep price increase.
