Guitar Hero Smash Hits - "Through The Fire And Flames" Expert Guitar 100% FC (994,259)

Through The Fire And Flames - Dragonforce Guitar Hero Full Series Full Combo. I never thought I'd be able to do it. This has always been a long-term goal, or more accurately, a pipe dream of mine ever since Oddballzfrank got the first ever GH FSFC, before Warriors of Rock even released. Now it's over, I've done it. It's hard to find many words to describe how this feels. I was 8 years old when I first picked up a plastic guitar, 9 years old when I got the first game for Christmas of 2006. I breezed through the career mode on easy and medium and spared no time jumping into hard and expert. I can still remember being flabbergasted at how hard the main riff in I Wanna Be Sedated was on expert. I got GH2 shortly after, then every other subsequent game on the day of release. I was hooked. When this YouTube channel was created in February of 2008 by my fourth grade friend Colin, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined still using it today, nearly 13 years later. Btw, if you ever wondered where the name "guitarheroROXS" came from, it was chosen by my friend Colin when he made this channel for me. Why is the capitalization the way it is? idk. Why is "rocks" spelled as "ROXS"? idk. Back in the early days of my YouTube channel, my videos were just me recording my CRT TV screen while getting moderately good FCs for the time. I was a literal child, so most of those videos were incredibly cringeworthy and bad, which is why big mature adult 15 year old me went through and deleted many of them, but thankfully left many privated. Those videos still exist on this channel today, lots of gems. Did you know I uploaded a full playthrough of this game back in June of 2009 when this game first released? Only the real OGs remember those. Got 46/48 FC's too, only missing Play With Me and TTFAF. I've done a deep-dive into YouTube History in my American Pie description, so go read that if you want more info, but now I'll talk about what ultimately lead us to this point. In anticipation of Rock Band 4 releasing, I bought an Elgato HD60 capture card so I could record my gameplay. My goal was to have an FC video of every single song uploaded as soon as possible so that people looking to jump back into the series would be able to see good, high-quality gameplay of the new songs. Well, after playing through and uploading the entirety of RB4 in two days and consequently achieving the world's first FGFC on expert guitar, I figured I might as well keep going and upload songs from the older games too. The rest is history. This video marks an important milestone for me: I've now uploaded a video of me FCing every single on-disc song from the GH and RB franchises with proper pathing in 1080p60. My mission statement has been fulfilled. What does this mean for the future of this channel? All throughout my time playing GH and RB there's been a sense of progression; a real tangible feeling of getting better as a player or achieving more goals I've set for myself. I feel that sense of progression dwindling. There's really not much left for me to do on console. Don't get me wrong, I still have things I want to do on the old console games, but I feel like after 14 years of playing this game, I'm running out of options. I think Clone Hero will be my future. Previously I didn't really play much Clone Hero because I didn't really care about getting insane section FCs or learning new patterns or anything. It didn't scratch the same itch that the console games still do for me. Playing competitively, going for high scores, that's what I find fun. CSC Elite League was exactly that and more. Participating in the CSCEL tournament was a game-changer for me, it's changed how I view Clone Hero as a medium. There's communities of people (CHSC gang) that hold squeezing tournaments, basically. I think there's lots of potential for me in places like that, so I look forward to where 2021 will bring me in that regard. Like I mentioned earlier, I do have a few things I would like to accomplish on old school GH and RB still. Mostly tie up some loose ends, but also perhaps another large project. Recently a prominent member of the community (they will remain nameless so they don't get flooded with messages) license-shared me all the GH DLC's. I already had them all on my RGH console, but for whatever reason, having all the DLC on my main account really lit a fire in me to want to go for the GH Full Library FC (all on-disc songs and DLC FC'd), which has never been done before to my knowledge. Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in. Well, I'm reaching the 5,000 character limit, so I guess I'll have to wrap it up. Thanks to all of you for following me along on this journey. It's been a real pleasure interacting with you, it brightens my day reading your comments :) also this song EZ My Scores: https://www.scorehero.com/scores.php?...
