This BMW R100 S MY 1976 is owned by the 2. person right now. He bought it when it was 1 year old and went on many great journes with it. The total kilometers on the odometer reads 56.000 km and most of them done by the second owner. But after around 20 years of fun the bike didnt look like its supposed to look. These frames tend to rust over time and so does the battery holder. The engine had alot of kilometers on it as well so the guy decided to take it apart and do a full restoration. Thats what he wanted to do at least, but stopped when the frame parts were powder coatet and the motor rebuilt by a BMW mechanic. So all parts were sitting like that from mid 90s to 2020 when we decided that I finish the restoration. Have fun with this last video of the series and see how the full build went.
