Partnerships create habitat improvements for salmon and steelhead upstream of Oregon's Pelton-Round Butte Hydroelectric Project. Relicensing the project, owned by Portland General Electric and The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, provided opportunities and funding to open up hundreds of square miles of stream and river spawning and rearing environment. This is a story of how cooperation between private and public groups can reach mutual goals through effective communication and commitment.
