My first Clavis Q18. This lock is not easy to gut. Well, gutting not too bad it's the re-assembly that is the real pain; but I managed to get it back together. I couldn't get the caps off the plug without destroying them. This lock has great feedback and was a lot of fun to pick! (Apologies for the audio quality) The pins that hold the core in had to be drilled out and tapped for grub screws. The screws that hold the tailpiece plate were staked but luckily not too deep. The follower was made from a 3/8" anchor bolt and cut down to the right diameter with a single notch to remove one pin at a time. The followers I had were either too big or too small and have two notches 180 degrees apart and I didn't want to take a chance on pins flying out.
