A clean steering wheel should have a matte appearance. The first step is to clean the steering wheel with a leather cleaner. Use a leather brush to agitate the cleaner and remove the residue with a microfiber towel. The second step is to apply a protection which will prevent rapid wear and discolouration from clothing (dye transfer) and also prevent friction damage. Repeat these steps every 2 or 3 months to maintain your leather properly and it will look good for years!
