We had the great pleasure to be in Polizzi Generosa, the birthplace of Domenico Dolce and a deep source of inspiration for Dolce&Gabbana. We enjoyed a wonderful event, to celebrate the genius of two artists and their infinite love for the beauty and culture of Sicily. Thanks to the help of Serena Pantina and all the staff of Polizzi Svelata, we had the opportunity to discover Polizzi Generosa, one of the most beautiful Sicilian villages located in the Madonie nature reserve. Polizzi Generosa is full of heritage, art, beauty and wonderful people! The second part of this video displays the gorgeous event rich in Sicilian folklore, music, dance, fireworks, and food and wine exhibitions. During the parade, we had the opportunity to meet the 3 tenors from “Il Volo” (2 of them are Sicilians!) who have been invited as special guests of the event. The event ended with the showing of the film “Devotion”. The film has been directed by Giuseppe Tornatore with unreleased music by the unforgettable Ennio Morricone. It tells the story of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the genesis of their masterpieces and the connection to their beloved Sicily. We have spent almost 2 years to edit these amazing footage and finally we are proud to show you the result... enjoy it!
