CNN and the BBC hailed Recoleta Cemetery as one of the best cemeteries in the world. It's a fascinating miniature city with extraordinary funerary monuments. This video tells the story of the cemetery and its interesting occupants and shows some of the magnificent tombs to be seen in this most visited tourist location in Argentina. Recoleta Cemetery is crowded with wonderful art and architecture, along a network of pathways and I did not find it easy to locate the best monuments and the most interesting occupants.
