Changing The Oil On My 2015 BMW X3 (F25) - No More Mistakes!

In this video I will show you my process for changing the oil in my 2015 (F25) BMW X3! As you'll see, I start by removing the drain plug, draining the oil, then with a new crush washer, torque the plug to spec. Then I get the oil filter ready by replacing the filter itself and the housing O-rings. At that point, I torque the filter housing to spec. Then I fill the engine with oil, reset the oil service reminder code and measure the oil level. After further research, the 25 +5 Nm torque spec on the oil filter housing means a nominal torque of at least 25 Nm with a positive tolerance of 5 Nm. Essentially, anything between 25 and 30 Nm is good. Please let me know if you have any questions in the comment section below!.
